I am a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of experience in health care. Throughout my years in nursing, I learned that health and wellness are not the same as being “free” from illness. On my own health journey, healing from physical and emotional trauma, a regular yoga practice became time for my mind and body to connect and heal. The personal benefits I receive from a regular yoga practice inspired me to become a certified yoga instructor, and SUP yoga certified. My passion is to help others experience and enjoy the many healing and therapeutic benefits of yoga.
I have been physically active most of my life. My interests include long distance running, belly dancing, yoga, and stand up paddle boarding (SUP). SUP yoga combines two of my favorite activities---my love for the water, and the flow of yoga! My sweet dog, Ria, is my trusty companion for most of my adventures, and the benefits she receives from my practice are immeasurable. I simply love to live life and believe that exercise should be fun and enjoyable!
