 Resilience is "the psychological and biological strengths required to successfully master change”. - Psychiatrist Frederick Flach. 

Yoga for Resilience and Strength is a class for all body types, ages, abilities and emotional capacities to explore discovering internal resilience and resources for healing. We will explore building strength through mindful movements, stillness, information and fun! We will examine different movements’ impact our nervous systems, investigating movements that can calm our nervous systems. 

Each class includes a 60 minute all-level yoga and movement practice. Classes begin with grounding and centering exercises. Next we will flow through yoga poses building muscle, core and emotional strength. Classes conclude with settling into Savasana – or final resting pose. 


Classes are Sunday from 9:00-10:00 AM EST. Prior yoga experience not necessary

Many factors contribute to decreased immunity and increased susceptibility to illness. Too much or prolonged stress can overwhelm our system and deplete our reserves, manifesting in physical and mental illness. Yoga helps to counter-act many of these complications by increasing strength, flexibility and mental functioning while decreasing stress, inflammation and physical pain. 

Yoga to Boost Immunity is a live, online yoga class designed to boost immune systems. Classes begin with breathing exercises, called pranayama, focused on improving lung health while quieting the mind. Next we will flow through an all levels gentle yoga practice with poses focused on releasing tension while building strength. Class concludes by settling the mind through a guided meditation, prior to relaxing into Savasana – or final resting pose. 


Classes are Sunday from 6:30-7:45 PM EST. Prior yoga experience not necessary

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga provides an opportunity for people to access the benefits of yoga safely without significant strain. This class is ideal for people who have difficulty sitting on the floor, who find getting up and down challenging or who find their balance unsteady. People who sit for long periods, such as at work, benefit from a movement break without having to leave their chair. 

Chair Yoga is a live, online yoga class designed to help participants  safely move and stretch with the aid of a chair. Classes begin with breathing exercises, called pranayama, focused on improving lung health while quieting the mind. Next we will flow through supported seated and standing yoga poses focused on releasing tension while building strength. We will include poses focusing on balance, stabilizing with the chair.  Class concludes relaxing into Savasana – or final resting pose. 


Classes are Tuesday from 12:30-1:30 PM EST. Prior yoga experience not necessary!

Being a healthcare worker is not easy and often can wear down providers. Yoga for Healthcare Workers is an online, live yoga class, specifically designed to help support and care for healthcare workers themselves! 

Each class includes an all-level yoga practice encompassing stretching and strengthening poses which counteract the demands healthcare takes on the body. Classes begin with breathing exercises, called pranayama, quieting the mind. Next we will flow through yoga poses releasing tension while building strength.  Classes conclude with a guided meditation designed to relax the mind from the mental toll of caring for others, prior to settling into Savasana – or final resting pose. 

Classes are Wednesday from 6:30-7:45 PM EST. Prior yoga experience not necessary!

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa is a Sanskrit word meaning “to place in a special way”. Vinyasa Yoga links postures or asanas together, at the same time anchoring movement with the breath. Vinyasa Flow classes move at a pace designed to build endurance and strength, while offering options to increase or decrease the intensity of your practice.  

Vinyasa Flow classes’ steady movements make some asanas challenging for people who want more instruction and cues, so some prior yoga experience is a plus. Each class includes a 60 minute vinyasa practice, centered on a theme that changes from week to week. Classes begin with breathing exercises, called pranayama, quieting the mind. Next we will flow through a sequence of poses, including (but not limited to!) sun salutations, seated and standing poses, core stabilizing work, backbends and occasionally some arm balances. Classes conclude with settling into Savasana – or final resting pose. 


Classes are Friday from 10:00-11:00 AM EST. Prior yoga experience a plus!

Private lessons are a fantastic option if you are just getting started or looking to take your practice to the next level. Private lessons are 60 minutes of 1:1 time focused on your specific goals, needs and mobility. 

I provide alignment assessments; zeroing in on your structure and muscular engagement as I guide you through various movements. Improper alignment creates stress on joints, bones, muscles, connective tissues and internal organs.  I give instructions and cues based on your specific body structures and alignment, utilizing props and pose variations, allowing your body to build strength and flexibility.

If you have injuries or mobility issues, are new to yoga or just want one-on-one help, I teach you how to safely move with your body.  

No yoga experience necessary!

  I have spent years looking for a way to release stress, anxiety, fear and trauma from my body without having to relive the memories associated with the body sensations. Combining my knowledge of the human body gained from my years as a registered nurse, yoga, dance, other styles of movements and sensory exploration, I investigated different ways of moving and their impacts on the human body.

These explorations resulted in my creating a new series of movements designed to release tension, stress and stored trauma from our bodies without having to relive the memories of the events. 

Movement Lessons involve playful movements designed to isolate and activate muscle groups holding on to areas of tension in order to release stress. 

Movement Lessons are a series of 7 1 hour virtual private lessons. Each Movement Lesson focuses on a different area in the body with different associated movements. Prior yoga experience not necessary!

  Small Group Yoga Classes are a great option for the social aspects of in-person classes, while maintaining safe social distancing precautions. Small Group Yoga Classes will be a maximum of 3 people.  Join an existing small group, or gather 2 of your friends or family to schedule a class at a time convenient for you. Classes will be held at a mutually agreed upon location, maintaining at least 6 feet distance during practice. Classes can be outdoors in a backyard, at a park, or various other options. 

Classes are a 60-minute sequences that change from week to week. Each’s week sequence will be tailored to your desired activity level, with multiple options based on how you feel. We will end in Savasana – or final resting pose as a chance to quiet your mind. 

No yoga experience necessary!

Stand up paddleboard yog

SUP Yoga (yoga on a stand-up paddleboard in the water) is a fun and challenging way to take your current yoga practice to a different level, or to embark on a new adventure!  SUP yoga encourages mindful muscle engagement; otherwise you end up practicing “falling-in-asana” (falling in pose!). Moving to the natural soundtrack of the wind, birds, and gently flowing water is a profound experience!

Lessons involve 10 minutes of instruction, 15-20 minutes paddling and 60 minutes of yoga on the paddleboard. At the end of each session, you will relax in Savasana – or final resting pose as the water gently rocks you into a state of blissful meditation.

Equipment provided, or bring your own. 

No yoga or stand-up paddle boarding experience necessary!
